Phiran is the traditional costumes for both males and females in Kashmir and Himachal region of India. Muga Silk, PatEri silk and KesaRaw silk are different type of mekhela chadar. The bottom portion is called mekhela and top portion is called chador. Mekhela chador is a traditional Assamese dresses draped around the body by women.
