MDM Consulting Services is looking for an Expert Trainer who has the experiences in developing and facilitating training on SRHR, MHPSS and GBV, particularly in the context of refugees and asylum seekers, children and adolescents and experiences working with NGOs and CBOs in capacity building. Through MDM Consulting Services in Malaysia, Medecins du Monde will contribute to provision of technical and capacity building support on SRHR, MHPSS, GBV to local implementing partners. Through this initial assessment, Medecins du Monde has found that a cross-sectoral approach on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) is key to provide support to refugees and migrants in Malaysia. The fact findings confirmed the added value for Medecins du Monde to intervene through local partnerships with Malaysian organisations present in the field. Therefore, an exploratory mission has been conducted in Malaysia in March 2020 by a team composed of MdM advisors and key Malaysian stakeholders.
